This man is a conman/cowboy builder. He took £36,000 from myself and my dad. After promising to complete the work in 3 months. 7 and a half months later we had to sack him. It took my partner 3 weeks, 14 hours a day with a new builder, gas fitter, electrician, joiner, plumber to complete the work to a standard where we could safely move back in. We still have a mountain of running repairs to complete. (SEE BELOW)
We are now taking civil action against this conman. Be warned stay well away from Bahram Tahmasebi/Transform CON-struction. He will run to form and reinvent himself through yet another cowboy building company.
Steel girders were not bolted and cleated, girders were left resting on wood. Drains were fitted incorrectly using brick rubble with no p-gravel used. Lead flashing wasn’t fitted. Walls were left empty of insulation. Kingspan insulation was not fitted as per agreed contracts, in interior walls and loft space. Radiators, valves , doors, skirting, door frames, handles, hinges, steel girders, locks, plaster board, plaster, dry fix, cement, sand, electrical wiring, consumer units, soil stack, gutters, brickwork, fireboard, plastering, joinery, copper piping, plumbing elbows & tees should have been supplied and fitted by this conman as per the contract. He failed to do so. Constantly asking for extra money to do work that he had already been paid for. We ended up supplying thousands upon thousands of pounds worth of materials just to try to keep the job going. Not to mention the hundreds of hours of work that we had to do. It was a NIGHTMARE. Tahmasebi kept telling us that his mother & father-in-law had ripped him off on a build which is why he had no cash left. In actual fact they had been fleeced by Tahmasebi.
He charged VAT even when he was not VAT registered. He fitted our gas boiler when he was not qualified to do so. He has had a Gas Safe warning from Gas Safe. He is notorious in the Didsbury/Cheadle area as a conman. The electrical work has been a nightmare. He assured us that he was qualified to do the Gas/Electrics. He has lied through his teeth.
I have contacted Dominic Littlewood from rogue traders. Who is investigating him.
In the end he was sacked. We had to employ another builder/professionals at extra cost to rectify the work. IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE.
The building inspector has written a report for our civil action against him. He has used other companies such as orange construction which he dissolved after county court judgements. Most of the ratings on TAHMASEBI’S ratedpeople.com listing are fake. The ratings are from family, friends and cowboy employees.
I have since discovered that there’s a family Martin Ward of 27 Bollington Road Ancoats Manchester who this swine has left living in a building site for over 2 years after taking £25,000. The work has still not been completed.
It took my partner 3 weeks working 14 hours a day with a qualified builder, gas fitter, plumber and joiner and 4 skip loads of rubbish to make my home safe. Thank you to Lee Walker (joiner) Robert Burns (builder) HD Electrical and Gary Russell from Gas Safe Register.

Where do I begin? The lies and bullshit from cowboy Bahram Tahmasebi have to rank as one of the most shocking cases of deceit in the building industry. It’s RATS like this that give builders a bad name. He’s got a listing on rated people the problem is the ratings are from his family & friends/employees. It’s all fake.

Tahmasebi/Transform CON-struction Were NOT qualified or certified to work on the electrics. Tahmasebi LIED about his qualifications. This is the shocking state of the work they left. It was a death-trap! Live electrical wires were left bare! The consumer unit was upside down!!!

This was my 11 yr old daughters bedroom. Tahmasebi failed to bolt & cleat the iron girders together and left them resting on wood! He also used plaster board to hide it. Building reg’s require all steel to be fire-boarded! Paul McNeil from Hall & Berry told the bastard 3 months prior to our discovery that the RSJ’s should be BOLTED, CLEATED AND RESTING ON A 9 INCH PADSTONE.
Drains were left broken & destroyed by Tahmasebi £36,000 for this! Rats began to enter our house!

We still have a mountain of running repairs to complete.ie Moving floors, cracked plaster on walls and ceiling, outside steps to fit, lead flashing, window glass replacement, window sill end caps, window sealing, skirting boards, door handles, locks, hinges need fitting, soil pipes need internal cementing as well as the facia/sofia boards at the rear of the house!. Then there’s three major problems. We have to fire-board girders and find a solution to getting insulation into the internal battened walls without further damaging them. As well as making an entrance into the new loft space then insulate it. Then of course there’s the cost of redecorating! It’s going to cost another several thousand pounds. Money we simply cannot afford. But at least the recurring Nightmare of Transform CONstruction cowboy builder Bahram Tahmasebi is at an end.
The CURSE of Transform CONstruction has been broken.
